Entering IM Automotive, AUMO Simulation Testing HIL Helps the Development of Autonomous Driving Industry

In late December, AUMO was invited to participate in the "Smart Automotive Innovation Technology Exhibition" held at the Shanghai IM Intelligent Innovation Center. The exhibition showcased multiple solutions related to autonomous driving simulation testing HIL, electronic rearview mirrors, and other products, which attracted attention. On site, AUMO had in-depth exchanges with multiple R&D personnel of Smart Automotive.

This event is jointly organized by Zhiji Automobile and Tiqi Automobile, with more than 20 suppliers participating in intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, chips&modules, body interior and exterior decoration. Zhiji Automobile Party Secretary Zhang Dongchi, CTO Project Party, and Technical Planning Director Qian Xin attended the event and visited and communicated on-site.

IM Zhiji is a new user oriented automotive technology innovation company jointly created by SAIC Group, Zhangjiang High Tech, and Alibaba Group. It was founded in 2020 and launched the Zhiji LS6, which ranked first in the Chinese brand "medium to large pure electric SUV" with over 200000 yuan for six consecutive weeks.

Currently, intelligent connected vehicles have become a strategic direction for the transformation and upgrading of the global automotive industry, and the development of autonomous driving is accelerating. AUMO has launched multiple intelligent driving system products to serve domestic and foreign customers in the autonomous driving industry, assisting in the development of the industry, including hardware in the loop simulation HIL, 16 channel in car camera video acquisition and processing system, 12 channel HDMI video injection system, 16 channel PCIE video injection and feedback system, electronic rearview mirror CMS and other products and solutions.

| Hardware in the loop simulation HIL solution for autonomous driving

The autonomous driving data processing workstation AD Station W100 can achieve functions such as video data acquisition and injection. Customers can deploy the simulation software environment to the W100 server to build a more comprehensive hardware in the loop simulation testing environment. By combining programmable FPGA, powerful data acquisition and processing capabilities, the system can achieve synchronous reinjection of multi-channel data acquisition and virtual scene data, adapt to various mainstream serial and deserialization chips, and flexibly adapt to different autonomous driving schemes.

| 12 channel HDMI video injection system

A system product designed for algorithm verification and optimization needs in the autonomous driving industry, which can achieve up to 12 channels of GMSL 8M camera video injection, and provides PTP timestamp synchronization function to ensure the synchronization of multi-channel data. It supports industrial computers/standard servers to achieve hardware in the loop simulation of HIL systems.

| 16 channel vehicle mounted camera video acquisition and processing system

A highly integrated system product that meets the data acquisition needs of up to 16 cameras for autonomous driving. It uses AUMO's self-developed 16 channel GMSL acquisition card A16 and achieves 16 camera video acquisition through PCIe 3.0 * 16 interface. The synchronization of frequency data is ensured through PTP timestamp function, supporting Windows and Linux systems. It is an ideal choice for industrial computer IPC autonomous driving solutions.

A system product designed for algorithm verification and optimization needs in the autonomous driving industry, using AUMO's self-developed 8-channel GMSL video injection card S2, which can achieve up to 16 channels of video data injection. It also supports 8-channel CAN/CANFD and 6-channel 1000M Base-T1 in car Ethernet data injection, and provides PTP timestamp synchronization function to ensure the synchronization of multi-channel data. It supports industrial control computers/standard servers to achieve hardware in the loop simulation of HIL systems

| Electronic rearview mirror CMS solution

A programmable computing solution based on AMD Xilinx FPGA, suitable for image processing operations, effectively solving latency problems. 12.3-inch LCD screen, standard for vehicle grade use, the screen can be divided to display multiple camera images. Supports 2 GMSL1/2 camera inputs, up to 8MP cameras.
