On March 18th, ALINX AUMO was awarded the ISO 26262:2018 Functional Safety ASIL D Process Certification Certificate by the internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification body SGS (hereinafter referred to as "SGS"), marking that Xinyi Electronics has established a product development and management process system that meets the highest level of functional safety ASIL D in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 26262:2018 standard.

ISO 26262 is an internationally authoritative functional safety standard for automobiles, and its process system certification and product certification are highly recognized in the automotive industry. It is one of the entry barriers for global electronic component suppliers to enter the automotive industry. The standard covers functional safety requirements planning, design, implementation, integration, verification, confirmation, configuration, and other aspects, running through the entire product lifecycle.
ASIL (Automotive Safety Integration Level) is a classification system based on the ISO26262 standard, with four levels: A, B, C, and D. The higher the level, the stricter the development process. ASIL level D is the highest safety level of ISO 26262. The establishment of a functional safety process system is a fundamental requirement in compliance with functional safety standards.
After independent review by SGS, the functional safety standard development process system constructed by Xinyi Electronics meets the requirements of ISO 26262:2018 standard and has been awarded the highest level ASIL D process certification for automotive functional safety. This will lay a solid foundation for Xinyi Electronics AUMO's future development of automotive functional safety products.
